The sheath (1) has a distal portion (2) with a diameter and a proximal portion (3) with another second diameter, where the former diameter is smaller than latter diameter and a puncture hole diameter. The latter diameter is larger than the diameter of puncture hole. A transition portion between distal and proximal portions prevents the proximal portion from entering a vessel.
