CLONES AND INFECTIVE VECTORS DERIVED FROM CORONAVIRUS AND ITS APPLICATIONS.

Infectious clones and vectors derived from coronaviruses and their applications. The infective clone derived from a coronavirus comprises a cDNA encoding the gRMA of a cloned coronavirus under a transcription promoter sequence. The recombinant viral vector comprises an infective clone modified to contain a heterologous nucleic acid inserted into said infective clone under conditions that allow the expression of said heterologous nucleic acid. Clones and infective vectors are useful in both basic and applied research, in the development of efficient expression systems of products of interest (proteins, enzymes, antibodies, etc.), vaccine vectors and gene therapy.
