PURPOSE: A solid fuel using sawdust is provided which is almost completely burnt so that much of smoke is not generated, consistently burnt for several hours so that it is superior fuel and conveniently portable so that it is used to various applications, and a method for manufacturing the solid fuel using sawdust is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing portable solid fuel using sawdust comprises a step (S110) of roasting sawdust to remove fine particles of sawdust; a step (S120) of mixing the sawdust with the additive by adding a certain additive to the sawdust; a step (S130) of molding the mixed sawdust to certain size and certain shape; and a step (S140) of injecting combustible material into the molded sawdust, wherein paraffin is added to the certain additive in the step (S120), wherein the step (S120) further comprises the step of mixing the sawdust with a certain quantity of incense of pine needles, wherein the step (S120) further comprises the step of mixing the sawdust with a certain quantity of incense of rose, and wherein the combustible material in the step (S140) is solid alcohol or liquid alcohol. The solid fuel using sawdust comprises 15 to 25 wt.% of sawdust, 5 to 10 wt.% of additive and 60 to 80 wt.% of combustible material, and wherein the solid fuel using sawdust further comprises 1 to 5 wt.% of incense.
