HOMING OF DONOR CELLS TO TARGET ZONE IN TISSUE USING ACTIVE THERAPEUTICS OR SUBSTANCES BY DELIVERING TRANSLOCATION STIMULATOR TO TARGET ZONE OF TISSUE IN MAMMAL AND INTRODUCING DONOR PRECURSOR CELLS TO MAMMAL
PURPOSE: A method for inducing vascular growth in tissue of a mammal by delivering a translocation stimulator to a target zone of the tissue in the mammal and introducing donor precursor cells to the mammal is provided. It permits easy homing of donor precursor cells to the target zone of the tissue and is effective in minimally invasive treatment of cardiac ischemia. CONSTITUTION: To induce vascular growth in tissue of a mammal, a translocation stimulator such as a cytokine, chemokine or chemoattractant is delivered to a target zone of the tissue in the mammal and then donor precursor cells are introduced to the mammal to home the donor precursor cells to the target zone of the tissue for effecting vascular growth at the target zone. The process additionally contains the step of: using donor precursor cells as endothelial progenitor cells, obtaining the endothelial progenitor cells from a dimorphic source; administrating an immune suppressive agent to the mammal; obtaining the endothelial progenitor cells from a isomorphous source; administrating an immune suppressive agent to the mammal; using donor precursor cells as bone marrow derived stem cells; obtaining bone marrow derived stem cells from the isomorphous source; administrating an immune suppressive agent to the mammal; obtaining bone marrow derived stem cells from the dimorphic source; administrating the immune suppressive agent to the mammal; gene process of the donor precursor cells to produce therapeutic protein or the like.
