PURPOSE: A method for merging photographic images to implement virtual reality is provided to merge the photographic images without distortion. CONSTITUTION: Images are photographed in such a manner that portions of images are overlapped. The photographed images are digitalized. Overlapped portions of the photographed images are removed and the digitalized images are merged. While rotating around an object, a plurality of source images are photographed in such a manner that portions of the photographed images are overlapped. The photographed source images of the object are digitalized. The overlapped portions of photographed source images are removed, and the photographed source images are merged to an image of the object.
