Fire and rescue vehicle comprises a multiwheeled, all-wheel drive mini vehicle having a size between a conventional vehicle for a single disabled person and a golf buggy. As a multiwheeled mini vehicle it can turn on the spot and access escalators using single-wheel drive. The use of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic in the vehicle body produces a light-weight construction that can be carried as an additional device in conventional fire vehicles. Fire-extinguishing apparatus can be integrated in the vehicle using flexible holding systems and in the vehicle body.
