PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety traveling device for a motorcycle more accurately detecting danger of falling and promoting measure for falling prevention by emitting warning to an occupant when the danger is large.;SOLUTION: The safety traveling device for the motorcycle comprises an inclination detection means 14 for detecting inclination of a vehicle body 12 of the motorcycle; a vehicle speed detection means 16 for detecting vehicle speed of the motorcycle; lateral slip detection means 14, 18 for detecting lateral slip between a wheel 12 and a road surface R; a falling determination means 30 for determining danger of falling of the motorcycle based on the inclination, the vehicle speed and the lateral slip of the vehicle body; and a warning means 35 for warning the falling to the occupant when the falling determination means determines the falling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
