PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration transmission property analyzer for engine block and a method of vibration transmission property analysis using the above analyzer, in order to obtain knocking vibration characteristic, etc. in engine.;SOLUTION: The analyzer contains a cylinder block 161 and a cylinder head 162, and an excitation device the excitation shaft of which is connected to a knock sensor mounting boss 163 installed in the cylinder block 161. In the position facing the knock sensor mounting boss 163 inside a cylinder bore 161A of the cylinder block 161, a cylinder block vibration sensor 310 is arranged.
