ROOFTOP GREENING MATERIAL AND ROOFTOP GREENING CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop greening material for greening a rooftop of a construction such as a building so as to cut off heat, cool the air, protect concrete, clean up the air, temporarily store rainwater, and create a biotope for creatures in an urban area. PSOLUTION: The rooftop greening material comprises a structure where plants such as grass plants and/or trees are held to grow so as to green the rooftop or an outer wall. The material is structured as follows: a sheet formed into a predetermined shape and having at least air permeability and water permeability holds materials consisting mainly of plant ones such as forestry products or cereal byproducts treated through at least a fermentation process, and containing wood chips comprising at least thined wood or construction debris as raw material; and plants such as grass plants or trees are grown out of the structure to green the rooftop or the outer wall of the building.
