One idea -among several described in this application- for dynamic network resources allocation and consolidation is a method of adjusting connection characteristics for a connection between a first, user, computer and a remote second computer comprises providing to a user a dynamic connection characteristics user interface for the first computer, which allows the user to adjust one or more connection characteristics dynamically.
