METHOD FOR CONTROLLING STREET LAMPS BY USING A MOBILE COMMUNICATION, PARTICULARLY FOR CONTROLLING TURN-ON AND TURN-OFF OF STREET LAMPS IN REAL TIME BY ENABLING A CENTRAL CONTROL CENTER TO MONITOR A STATE OF THE STREET LAMPS AND PROVIDE LAMP TURN-ON AND TURN-OFF COMMAND TO A DISTRIBUTION BOX

PURPOSE: A method for controlling street lamps using mobile communication is provided to allow a central control center to monitor a current state of street lamps in real time and turn on or off the street lamps. CONSTITUTION: A street lamp control command server performs an initialization operation(200) and determines whether a control command for turning on or off a street lamp or a control command for requesting monitoring is inputted from a manager command input unit(202). If a control command is inputted, the street lamp control command server determines a street lamp distribution box corresponding to the control command(204), reads a phone number of the street lamp distribution box(206), and transfers the phone number to a mobile terminal(208) so that the street lamp distribution box can be called through dialing(210). When the street lamp distribution box receives the call(212), the street lamp control command server transmits the control command to the street lamp distribution box via the mobile terminal(216) so as for the street lamp distribution box to perform an operation according to the control command. The street lamp control command server receives operation result data via the mobile terminal and processes it(218).
