摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a cost-efficient method for fabrication of dental ceramic bracket having excellent aesthetic properties which is processed in semi-plastic state by using ceramic-glass infiltration technique. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: molding ceramic materials such as zirconia, alumina or spinel as the frame into which glass infiltrates; semi-baking the molding to the density of 60 to 80% of theoretical density; processing it in the form of ceramic-bracket by processor for ceramic material; infiltrating glass into the ceramic material; removing the glass at top of surface by the second processing; and remaining stress to give a dental ceramic bracket. The rest of glass except for the portion infiltrated by glass is removed by acid treatment or other processing. Particularly, the density of ceramic in semi-plastic state is 60 to 70% of theoretical density. Also, is commonly used a metal oxide as alumina, spinel, zirconia, alumina/zirconia or spinel/zirconia.
