PURPOSE: A stable mixed fat and oil composition containing common edible fats and oils, medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides(MCT) and vegetable sterol is provided. It has functional properties such as inhibition of accumulation of body fat and cholesterol absorption, and increased stability. CONSTITUTION: The functional fat and oil composition contains 86 to 96% by weight of vegetable fats and oils, 4 to 12% by weight of medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides and 0.1 to 2% by weight of vegetable sterol. The vegetable fats and oils are one or more selected from soybean oil, corn oil, rape oil, high oleic rape oil, safflower oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and wheat germ oil. The medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides are C8-10 saturated fatty acid, in particular caprylic acid, capric acid having a fatty acid content of 90% or more.
