SIP-BASED BUSY CALL/SESSION REDIRECTING METHOD AND A SYSTEM, ESPECIALLY RELATED TO REDIRECTING A CALL/SESSION TO AN ADDRESS DESIGNATED BY A SUBSCRIBER WHEN THE LINE IS BUSY

PURPOSE: An SIP-based busy call/session redirecting method and a system are provided to perform a call redirecting process based on busy call redirecting service information of a receiver when the receiver is registered in a busy call redirecting service. CONSTITUTION: If the line is busy, an SIP server(201) confirms whether a receiver is registered in a busy call redirecting service based on the receiver's profile, and supplies an invite message to an SIP AS(Application Server)(205) if the receiver is registered in the service. The SIP AS(205) includes at least more than one subscriber service profile, generates an invite message based on busy call redirecting service information included in the receiver's profile if the invite message is received from the SIP server(201), and provides the generated invite message to the SIP server(201). The SIP server(201) carries out a call setup process according to the received invite message of the SIP AS(205).
