PURPOSE: A cooling water system for a fuel cell vehicle is provided, to allow it to be started even if the voltage of an auxiliary battery is low, to reduce starting time and the time for removing the water generated at a positive electrode in a stack and to allow the stack to be operated through a short loop. CONSTITUTION: The cooling water system comprises a stack(20) installed in a fuel cell vehicle; a first pump(32) which pumps the cooling water into a radiator(31) to supply the cooling water into the stack if the vehicle is started; a first reservoir(33) which stores the cooling water flown through the radiator if the cooling water is pumped by the first pump; a second pump(34) which allows a small amount of cooling water to be circulated and is installed in the fuel cell vehicle to remove the water generated at a positive electrode in the stack; a second reservoir(40) which is installed to be attachable to and detachable from the fuel cell vehicle and stores the water removed from the stack by the second pump; and a plurality of valves which are installed at the first and second reservoirs, the second pump and the each line into the stack to control the circulation of the cooling water.
