METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NITRATE REMOVAL FILTERING MATERIAL BY DIPPING GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON IN IRON CHLORIDE SOLUTION AND EVAPORATING IRON CHLORIDE SOLUTION AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING NITRATE USING FILTERING MATERIAL MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of filter material for removing nitrate, the method for integrating coagulation/precipitation treatment process and adsorption treatment process when treating underground water, drinking water, seawater, sewage and wastewater to sharply decrease facility unit price and preventing discharge of iron ions when removing nitrate in the above treatment processes to increase wastewater treatment efficiency, and an apparatus for removing nitrate using the filter material. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for treating contaminated water using iron chloride activated carbon(109) manufactured by a manufacturing method of filtering material for removing nitrate, the apparatus(100) for removing nitrate comprises: a packed pipe(107) which has a fixed inner diameter, and both sides of which are opened such that respective filter membranes(113) are mounted on both opened surfaces of the packed pipe, and the iron chloride activated carbon is filled between the respective filter membranes; an annular lower supporting panel(121) which is fixed to the lower surface of the packed pipe, of which inner diameter is equal to inner diameter of the packed pipe, and of which outer diameter is larger than at least outer diameter of the packed pipe; an annular upper supporting panel(119) which is fixed to the upper surface of the packed pipe, of which inner diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the packed pipe, and of which outer diameter is larger than at least the outer diameter of the packed pipe; a hollow inflow pipe(117) comprising a lower pressing cover(111) which is clamped to the lower supporting panel, of which outer diameter is equal to outer diameter of the lower supporting panel, and of which inner diameter is smaller than inner diameter of the lower supporting panel such that the inner diameter of the lower pressing cover is extended as long as a fixed length; and a hollow discharge pipe(101) comprising an upper pressing cover(105) which is clamped to the upper supporting panel, of which outer diameter is equal to outer diameter of the upper supporting panel, and of which inner diameter is smaller than inner diameter of the upper supporting panel such that the inner diameter of the upper pressing cover is extended as long as a fixed length.
