PURPOSE: An apparatus for hooking crabs is provided to relieve the burden in which bait is frequently exchanged during hooking so as to hook them very conveniently and to catch the most crabs, leaded into the present apparatus, just by raising the present apparatus and by allowing the automatic folding of a net structure. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for hooking crabs includes: a bait fixture(21), connected to a central weight(20); a bait enclosing portion(22), arranged around the bait fixture(21) and made out of a narrowable elastic material; many circular rings(23), arranged respectively on the edge side of the bait enclosing portion(22); at least one tightening string(30b), connected to the circular ring(23); a tightening member(30a), connected to the tightening string(30b) so as to tighten the latter(30b); an elastic net structure(10), arranged around the central weight(20) and made out of a narrowable elastic material; many circular rings(10a), arranged on the edge side of the elastic net structure(10); at least tightening string(50) for the rings(10a); and a connection ring(27).
