The phase angle correction method has the measured parameter obtained from the secondary side of the transducer sampled for obtaining a sequence of sample values, converted via an analogue/digital converter into digital momentary values. Each of the latter is compared with the immediately preceding digital momentary value for providing a difference, multiplied with a phase correction factor for calculating a correction value, which is added to the momentary value for providing a corrected momentary value.
