Power and heat generation plant fueled from biomass digestion, includes gas conditioning equipment, combustor and gas-air heat exchanger with air- and steam turbine generator sets

A gas cleaning cyclone, combustion gas cooler and filter system follow a biomass gasifier in succession. They are followed in turn, by an external combustion chamber fired by the biogas, and a surface heat exchanger. Its secondary side is connected to a hot air turbine. The outlet air from this, is connected to a waste heat steam generator feeding a steam turbine. A line takes air from the hot air turbine to the external combustion chamber. A further line from this turbine, takes air to the flue gas ductwork following the high temperature heat exchanger. The flue gas line from this heat exchanger, is connected to the external combustion chamber. A bypass line connects the hot air line following the surface heat exchanger, with the outlet air line between the hot air turbine and the flue gas line. It includes a cold air connection. A cold air connection is provided for the air supply line to the surface heat exchanger. The waste heat steam generator is connected directly to the extraction-condensation turbine. Its steam extraction line leads to the heat exchanger. A steam state converter is placed in parallel with the extraction-condensation turbine, and is connected to the heat exchanger.
