Powdered composition (A) for reconstitution to a consumable product by addition of liquid comprises (by weight) 5-60% base protein (I), including rennet casein having at least 5 wt.% of total (A); 30-90% fat (II); 1-5% salts and 0-10% complementary components such as flavorings, emulsifiers, preservatives, starch and hydrocolloids. An independent claim is also included for a method for preparing (A).
