PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing processed food of larvae of bee having solubility in water, and improved in palate feeling without spoiling bioactivation: and to provide processed food of larvae of bee.;SOLUTION: The method for producing processed food of larvae of bee improved in palate feeling comprises treating larvae of bee with protease, preferably subjecting the treated larvae of bee to solid-liquid separation, and drying and pulverizing the liquid part. The larvae of bee preferably comprise drone within 20-23 days after laid. The method preferably comprises transferring a nest board 10 having bee hives 12 where the larvae of bee 40 exist in a germfree room 30, cutting the lid of the bee hives in the germfree room, taking the larvae of bee 40 out of the bee hives, rapidly freezing the corrected larvae of bee for preservation followed by thawing the frozen larvae of bee, and subjecting the thawed larvae of bee to protease treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
