PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance instruction apparatus capable of assisting progress on performance of an musical instrument when a novice at a keyboard instrument learns how to play.;SOLUTION: In the performance instruction apparatus, a circular decision picture area is previously set based on the size of a hand of a performer in order to decide whether the hand is in an right form or in a wrong form with a palm or knuckle joints fully stretched. Whether a picked up picture of the performer's hand is within the decision picture area without being swollen out is decided, and when the picture of the hand is detected to be swollen out from the decision picture area, the performer is warned of that effect. Thus, the performer can immediately learn of a mistake in the performing operation or the wrong form of the hand, and can work on correction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
