PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit the performance of a control system at a high level by highly precisely identifying a critical gain in a feedback control system.;SOLUTION: A variable gain element 10 and a saturated element 30 are inserted into a control system so that self-excited vibration can be generated. A gain is adaptively adjusted so that the amplitude and cycle of an output signal can be identified, and that a critical gain and critical cycle can be obtained.
