A METHOD FOR DESIGNING TRAFFIC SIGN OF CITY ROAD

A method for designing traffic sign of city road, involves defining a time as a green light starting time at an opposite direction of a crossing, and setting the green light starting time of the next crossing based on the time to arrive the next crossing by a measured proper traveling speed. Calculating and measuring the green light starting time of every crossing in turn, and adding a time of green light period repeatedly. A traffic sign placed in proper position of the road is designed to show a proper traveling speed to arrive to the next crossing, to prompt that the next crossing is green light to drive at that speed. The traffic sign according to the invention can improve traffic condition of a city.
