PURPOSE: A device for supporting STR function of computer controls to allow the flash memory to refresh when the computer is in STR mode and to be out of the usage limitation of the chip set by supporting the STR(save to ROM). CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a memory controller(100), an STR supporting part(102), a power part(104), and a memory module(106). The memory controller(100) controls the storage and refresh the data of the memory module(106). The STR supporting part(102) refreshes the memory module(106) when the computer goes into the STR mode. The memory module(106) includes a plurality of memories and stores variety of information for waking up the computer when it goes into the STR mode. The power part(104) outputs the stable voltage PWORK after the rising time. Each memory of the memory module(106) is SDRAM and the SDRAM includes a clock, clock enable, RAS, CAS, CS, WE, address and data terminals.
