FIELD: armament.;SUBSTANCE: the method consists in initiation of the homing mode by separation of the nose unit and opening of the optical system of the homing head. The projectile is outfitted by an air-dynamic control actuator, and simultaneously with opening of the optical system of the homing head a correction of the shape of the air intake device is performed preserving the value of the effective area of the passage cross-section. The control actuator of the homing projectile is made air-dynamic and fastened to the rear end of the homing head.
