FIELD: handling spent nuclear fuel.;SUBSTANCE: proposed plant for producing plutonium dioxide from irradiated nuclear fuel to prepare MOX fuel has plutonium oxalate settling apparatus, cartridge filter, and sediment drying and calcining kiln. Cartridge filter is provided with device for separating sediment into layers which is disposed between filter cartridge and portable filter casing in a spaced relation to the latter. Drying and calcining film is made in the form of indirect-heating kiln equipped with device for post-filtration oxygen supply to cartridge filter casing installed in central space of kiln.;EFFECT: enhanced quality of plutonium dioxide obtained.;3 cl, 3 dwg
