The stringed instrument has hinged neck (1) whereby neck is connected with the body (2) of the stringed instrument by means of a hinge (3). The neck can be hinged on top side of the body. At the lower side of the neck and body, power driven string traction is arranged. The detachable connecting element and the strings (7) are arranged at the neck or at the body with turnbuckles (8) by retaining strip (9).
