Wet clutch`s plate e.g. pressure plate, temperature estimating method for vehicle`s automatic transmission, involves correcting thermodynamic equations by estimating error functions from measured and calculated oil temperatures difference

The method involves establishing thermodynamics equations at the level of clutch plates such as clutch pressure plate, and at the level of cooling oil. An error function is taken into account in each one of the equations. The equations are corrected by estimating the error functions from a difference between oil temperature measured at the exit of a casing (21) and calculated oil temperature at exit of casing. An independent claim is also included for a device to estimate temperature of multiple clutch plates in a wet clutch.
