METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FORMED ARTICLE EXCELLENT IN DESIGN AND FORMED ARTICLE EXCELLENT IN DESIGN

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a formed article excellent in the design by which a designed desired rugged pattern is more faithfully left on the surface of a product by suppressing the defacement of the rugged pattern and the generation of surface defects in the forming process. PSOLUTION: This method includes a stage where a metal plate is formed into a product shape and simultaneously the rugged pattern is worked at least in a portion of the surface of the product shape. Concretely, by setting the metal plate to a female die which has an internal shape corresponding to the product shape and on the internal surface of which a rugged pattern corresponding to the rugged pattern on the surface of the product is formed and making the metal plate match by pressing the plate against the inside of the female die with a pressure medium, the rugged pattern is worked on the surface simultaneously with the formation to the product shape.
