PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of reflecting the pattern of handwriting on a paper document onto an electronic document, the device being capable of controlling the display form of the pattern of writing according to the characteristics of the handwriting.;SOLUTION: The writing information processing system acquires the pattern of handwriting added to paper document and displays the pattern on a display device. The system includes: a writing information extracting means 202 for extracting document identification information of an electronic document, as an output source of the paper document to which identification information is given, and handwriting information data acquired based on the handwriting pattern; a characteristic amount extracting means 203 for extracting the amount of characteristics of the handwriting pattern based on the extracted handwriting information data; a priority determination means 204 for determining the priority of the strokes of the handwriting pattern from the amount of characteristics; and a writing processing means 205 for synthesizing a handwriting pattern according to the priority of an electronic document identified by the document identification information and for displaying the pattern on the display device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
