PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a heat shrink band which has a sufficient magnetic shield property, as well as can secure a tensile force to correct the deformation of a panel surface owing to an air fressure. ;SOLUTION: This manufacturing method has a process to hot-roll and/or cold-roll a steel material containing C≤0.005wt.%, 2.0wt.% ≤Si≤4.0wt.%, 0.1 wt.%≤Mn≤1.0wt.%, P≤0.2wt.%, S≤0.020wt.%, Sol.Al≤0.004wt.% or 0.1 wt.%≤Sol.Al≤1.0wt.%, and N≤0.005wt.%; a process to anneal the steel material at 700 to 900°C thereafter; and a process to cold-press the steel material lightly at the cold pressing rate 3 to 5% thereafter. After the process to cold press lightly, the magnetic permeability μ at 0.3 Oe after the heating and the cooling is made μ≥250, and the yield stress YS is made YS ≥40kgf/mm2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
