The invention relates to a method of weaving images into knitted garments produced using small-diameter machines and to the garment thus produced. The inventive method employs a scanned image and comprises steps in which the digital image can be equalised, cropped and distorted and the number of pixels and colours can be reduced, for the subsequent weaving of same into a knitted garment produced using a small-diameter knitting machine. The inventive method can be used to produce complex woven images with a photographic appearance.
