A method for controlling macro diversity mode based on the user’s QoS requirement difference, the method is applicable to CDMA system, for real time service, it mainly based on the pilot strength measured by MS, and for the non-real time service, it mainly based on the pilot strength measured by MS and the downlink special transmitting power measured by BS. The method for controlling macro diversity according to the present invention is simply and adopts different controlling method for the service whose QoS is different.
