The scanner has a reception optics (21) arranged on a side of a motion image film opposite to a light source (15), and optoelectronic light receiver (25). An optical screen (23) has a filter area surrounding a transparent central area, where the filter area is designed as a spectral filter. The filter area has different transmission properties in a visible spectral area and in an infrared spectral area. The filter area is transparent in the visible spectral area, and is opaque in the infrared spectral area. An independent claim is also included for an optical screen with a transparent central area and a filter area.
