The method involves supplying of digital cinema packages (DCP) on a storage-system of content providers, and playing back of a show-playlist from a remotely arranged storage-system, where the show-playlist is produced in a theater. Data is obtained in different locations during operation of the storage-system. A disc e.g. virtual disc, on which block is accessed in a file system, is identified and significance of the block in the file system and assignment to access to the file is identified. Extra files and interpretation of their contents are identified by the disc e.g. virtual disc. An independent claim is also included for a device or system for execution of a method for transmitting a digital film from a rental agency to a theater.
