The radiator has a heating zone (1) to receive towels and including a heat source constituted of heating modules that are spaced from each other and fixed on vertical posts (2a, 2b). A heating zone not covering the towels includes a heat source that is distinct from former heat source and heats the ambient air by natural convection or radiation, where the heating zones are constituted of resistance formed in polymer material. A control device controls operation of the heat sources.
