The process of fixing a base (2) to a tank (1) comprises introducing the base against the tank so that a spur (8) carried on the base is disposed against the lateral surface of projection (4) projecting towards an outer surface (3) of the spur, and crushing the base. The crushing force is uniformly applied on a bottom surface of the projection parallel to the surface of the tank so as to deform and confine the tank with the outer surface to immobilize the base. A distribution tool having a reception rod is used for uniformly distributing the crushing force to the bottom surface. The process of fixing a base (2) to a tank (1) comprises introducing the base against the tank so that a spur (8) carried on the base is disposed against the lateral surface of projection (4) projecting towards an outer surface (3) of the spur, and crushing the base. The crushing force is uniformly applied on a bottom surface of the projection parallel to the surface of the tank so as to deform and confine the tank with the outer surface to immobilize the base. A distribution tool having a reception rod is used for uniformly distributing the crushing force to the bottom surface of the projection. The reception rod is adapted to receive the crushing force. A transmission surface is disposed to an end of the rod for totally expanding on the bottom surface. The projection is produced by pressing, during the formation of the tank. Each spur extends towards the interior of the base thus presenting a longitudinal cavity. The base comprises four spurs regularly distributed on its circumference.
