PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-EL-material-containing solution, which can be applied to a coating method.;SOLUTION: The organic-EL-material-containing solution contains an organic EL material and solvent, and the organic EL material includes a host and a dopant. The host is represented by formula having an organic EL functional part A comprising a low-molecular organic EL material and a solubilizing part B bonded with the organic EL functional part A to solubilize the low-molecular organic EL material to the solvent: A-B-E (E is an end group). In this case, A is the low-molecular organic EL material having an anthracene central skeleton, and B is constituted of the combination of formula (3) and formula (4). The formula (3) includes bonding at an ortho or meta position in a unit, and the formula (4) includes bonding at a para position in the unit.
