PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction type creation device, a result prediction device, a quality design device, a prediction type creation method and a method for manufacturing a product for improving the predicting precision of an extrapolation region in which any result data do not exist. PSOLUTION: This prediction type creation device 12 is provided with a similarity calculation means 121 for calculating the similarity of each sample and a request point of a result database 10 in which manufacturing conditions and its results are stored; and a prediction type creation means 122 for creating a prediction formula in the neighborhood of the request point by weighted regression with the similarity as weight, and configured to execute result prediction based on the specified manufacturing conditions, the control of the manufacturing conditions and the quality design of a product by using the prediction formula acquired by the prediction type creation device 12.
