SEEDLING PRODUCING METHOD HAVING STORAGE PROCESS

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling producing method having a storage process, and storing seedlings through stopping or at least greatly inactivating seedling growth for a fixed period, and obtaining seedlings in a healthy condition after storage. PSOLUTION: This seedling producing method comprises performing by turns processes as a sprouting process of obtaining rooting seedlings by a cuttage method, a graftage method and a tissue culture method, a storage process of culturing the rooting seedlings thus obtained, using water or a liquid medium added with a growth retardant to store at normal temperature under a light condition, and a raising seedling process of cultivating the seedlings after storage, using water or a liquid medium added with no growth retardant. It is possible to use for the growth retardant, a well-known growth retardant as well as ancymidol and uniconazole. A storage period is 2 weeks or longer, and preferably within 10 weeks.
