PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitumor agent, a hyaluronidase inhibitor or a therapeutic agent of atopic dermatitis, containing fucoidan obtained from an extract of seaweeds as an active ingredient, and utilizing the bioactivities thereof.;SOLUTION: The antitumor agent, the hyaluronidase inhibitor or the therapeutic agent of the atopic dermatitis contains the fucoidan obtained from Laminaria angustata var. longissima as an active ingredient. The fucoidan is obtained by extracting the Laminaria angustata var. longissima with a diluted aqueous hydrochloric acid solution, and concretely, is one or all of four fractions obtained by extracting the Laminaria angustata var. longissima with the diluted aqueous hydrochloric acid solution, converting the extract into a cetylpyridinium chloride complex of a polysaccharide, and subjecting the cetylpyridinium chloride complex of the polysaccharide to a DEAE-sepharose column.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
