PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector selection support system which enables a user to properly select a projector. PSOLUTION: The selection support server transmits selection assisting contents capable of simulating the capability of a projector to a user's terminal. Then the user can use the selection assisting the selection assisting contents by using a selection support screen 81. The selection support screen 81 has a machine type name input field 84, a screen size input field 86, and a desk arrangement input field 88 and the user can input the type name of a projector, a screen size, and the arrangement of desks through those fields. Once values of them are inputted, simulation results are displayed in a result display area 90 and a vie area display area 96. In the result display area 90, the screen size, the number of viewers, and whether lighting is present are displayed in the form of character information.
