PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the notes of a music and to easily recognize the correspondence relation between instructions of playing operating elements to be operated for a musical performance and the music.;SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument is equipped with a keyboard 11 composed of keys, key depression instruction 12 corresponding to the respective keys, a color display unit 13, etc. A microcomputer incorporated in this electronic musical instrument reads musical performance data out of a memory such as a RAM sequentially with time and turns on key depression instructing lamps 12 according to the musical performance data to instruct keys to be pressed. This computer also displays a music on the color display unit 13 by using the musical performance data. For the key depression instruction and musical score display, note numbers included in the musical performance data are used to the colors of the notes of the music displayed on the color display unit 13 and the illumination color of the key depression instructing 12 to the same colors which are different by the pitch names.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
