PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste waiting time generated between a person and a machine device and dispersion of a treatment efficiency.;SOLUTION: The sorting device is provided with a conveying line 30 for conveying a folded conveyor, i.e., an object to be sorted; a plurality of folded conveyor chute 50 allotted to ever sorting side; a folded conveyor detection sensor 150 for detecting the folded conveyor moving on the conveying line 30; a sorting line 40 for conducting the folded conveyor of the conveying line 30 to the folded conveyor chute allotted to every sorting side of the folded conveyor based on the folded conveyor detection information from this folded conveyor detection sensor 150 and a previously determined folded conveyor sorting instruction (baggage sorting information); and a collection treatment device 180 for taking out and staying a specific folded conveyor from the conveying line 30 such that the folded conveyor is continuously discharged to every sorting side from at least one chute 50 of a plurality of folded conveyor chutes 50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
