CURCUMIN COMPOUND AND ITS DERIVATIVES FOR INHIBITION OF CELL SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION AND USES THEREOF

A curcumin compound and its derivatives are provided to prevent and treat allergic diseases including atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergy and asthma by inhibiting the cell signal transduction without toxicity and side effects. A curcumin compound and its derivatives inhibit the cell signal transduction process to block the production and secretion of allergy-inducing materials, wherein the cell signal transduction process includes activation process of phosphorylase Syk or its substrates LAT(linker for activation of T cells) and Gab2(Grb2-binding protein 2) proteins, or production process of inflammatory cytokines including MAP(mitogen-activated protein) kinase consisting of ERK(extracellular signal-regulated kinase), p38 and JNK(c-Jun N-terminal kinase); and the cell is obesity cell. Further, the curcumin compound is additionally used as functional cosmetic or functional food.
