The method involves superimposing a reflecting layer e.g. aluminum layer, in a spacer layer, on which a semitransparent cluster layer is applied, where the reflecting layer reflects electromagnetic waves and the spacer layer is permeable for the waves. A polymer (10) forming the spacer layer is imprinted on a plastic film (2) by inking units (6). The polymer is applied above a horizontal plane, which runs through an axis of an impression cylinder (5), on the film. The imprinted film is guided from the cylinder in a horizontal direction to a drying device.
