The method involves connecting a diagnose device to a diagnose interface of a standing vehicle and verifying components at an emergency brake system. A spacer sensor is moved in a diagnostic mode and a controller of the system in a test mode. The vehicle in a driving environment with slate level and with passage examination of the sequences is driven, and the automatic emergency braking is initiated.
