Morphological parameter obtaining method for treating cerebral tumor, involves determining concentration variation of contrast agent, and correcting model of concentration variation associated to image element by adjusting variation

The method involves determining concentration variation of a contrast agent for a planar echo type magnetic resonance image element e.g. 2 dimensional image pixel, according to time. A negative value characterizing a revascularization is determined for the image element, when the concentration variation presents the negative value after a positive peak. A model of the concentration variation associated to the image element is corrected by adjusting the variation. A perfusion parameter e.g. cerebral blood volume, in tissue i.e. neovascularized tissue, is estimated from the adjustment.
