METHOD OF REFORMING JAPANESE STYLE TOILET TO WESTERN STYLE TOILET, AND HIGH-STRENGTH COMPOSITE CONCRETE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reforming a Japanese style toilet to a Western style toilet, which is carried out by removing an upper portion of a Japanese style toilet bowl to form a new floor surface, and setting a Western style toilet bowl on the new floor surface, wherein the method achieves prevention of breakage or slipout of the Japanese style toilet bowl, and facilitates reforming work.;SOLUTION: According to the method, only a front cover 13 of the Japanese style toilet bowl 10 is removed, and a drain pipe 21 is erected so as to communicate with a drain port 11 of the Japanese style toilet bowl 10. Next, a lid member 22 is fitted into an upper area of the Japanese style toilet bowl 10, and a high-strength composite concrete plate 23 which is obtained by bonding a metallic plate 23b such as a stainless steel plate to one surface of a concrete plate 23a reinforced by containing fibers therein, is laid on an upper side, and level adjustment is achieved by using bolts 24. Further a self-hardening material 26 is fed on the periphery of the high-strength composite concrete plate 23 and leveled.
